Astar has partnered with a well-respected company on the hunt for their Accountant - Treasury . This company specializes in transmission and propulsion systems for automotive OEMs and mobility providers globally.

Job Description:
Under the framework of Shared Services Asia Pacific, the role ensures the accuracy, security, and efficiency of cash and financial transactions for the company, providing standardized and high-quality services while maintaining financial discipline and regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
  • Strong mathematical and computational skills, with the ability to handle large and complex financial data accurately.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and practices specific to the Asia Pacific region.
  • Experience in operating financial systems such as CBS or similar ERP software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process cash and bank card transactions for all company and clients in the Asia Pacific region, ensuring accurate transactions and adhering to unified standards and procedures.
  • Manage cash inflows and outflows of the Shared Services Centre in Asia Pacific, ensuring funds security and implementing relevant risk control measures.
  • Conduct daily cash inventory, prepare cash daily reports for the Shared Services Asia Pacific, ensure that the books are consistent with the actual situation, and promptly report any differences or irregularities.
  • Assist clients in the Asia Pacific region in resolving payment issues, provide unified and efficient customer service, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in the development and execution of financial policies and procedures for the Shared Services Centre in Asia Pacific. Comply with all applicable financial regulations and internal company regulations, ensuring compliance of the Shared Services Centre in Asia Pacific.
  • Work closely with other departments within the Asia Pacific region and global shared service centre to ensure the smooth flow of financial processes and provide cross-departmental support.
  • Familiar with daily basic operations such as bank drafts, online banking payments, and foreign exchange payments.
  • Support asset management, finance documents archiving, and act as a coordinator to assist APAC HQ finance and external finance/tax associations.
