Trade Marketing Manager

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing trade strategies and executing the Trade Marketing Plan in line with sales and marketing objectives, to drive growth in market shares.
• Developing and implementing channel-specific marketing strategies and plans for assigned retailers.
• Managing the trade marketing budget & ensure the sales achievement's budget matches expenses allocations.
• Work closely with the sales team & marketing team to roll out impactful in-store campaigns and expand the distribution channel.
• Continuous understanding on external factors and competitors' activities of the channel & category.
• Improving brand presence and campaign execution across trade through excellence in in- store planning, execution, and tracking in alignment with the annual marketing priorities.
• To plan Exclusive SKUs Marketing Plan.
• To plan Joint Quarterly Marketing Plan.
• To plan Joint Business Plan, TTL, ATL, BTL Plan.
• To execute joint event planning: in-store, roadshows.
• Responsible to ensure that client interaction with Company is conducted in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Work closely with the cross-functional teams (e.g. Marketing, Operation and Supply Chain Management) to ensure efficient and effective execution.
• Continuously build market knowledge and refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' and above experience in trade marketing manager role.
• Minimum 1 year in managing Watsons/ Guardian Trade Marketing Plan.
• Minimum Diploma in Business Studies/ Marketing or any related discipline.
• Excellent Mandarin fluency both written and spoken is a must as this roles will required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and partners.
• Good communication skills in English & Malay.
• Proven track record in similar position.
• Strong analytic skills.
• Good organization skills with the ability to handle multitasks concurrently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent teamwork spirit and time management skills.
• Creative thinking and generate relevant ideas for brainstorming sessions.
