Responsibilities:
- Manage the project team in preparing schedule, coordinating and monitoring assigned engineering projects.
- Oversee project progress and costs to ensure compliance with contractual obligation and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with engineering and QA/QC teams to ensure adherence to applicable codes, practices, quality standards, and specifications.
- Organize regular progress meetings with consultants, the main contractor, subcontractors, and suppliers to review project status and keep the management team informed of any issues.
- Monitor on-site progress and provide constructive feedback to management.
- Work closely with management and the project team, demonstrating strong analytical skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Preferably holds a Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years working experience in project management.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in client interactions.
- Excellent liaison skills with government agencies, local authorities, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project implementation.
- Strong leadership, presentation, and analytical skills.
