Human Resource Manager
Job Requirements
- Degree holder preferably in Human Resource, Law, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum with 6-8 years of hands-on managerial experience in handling Human Resource and Industrial Relation matters in manufacturing, preferably in a unionized environment.
- Good knowledge of EPF, SOCSO and Malaysian Labour Law including Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act and Trade Union Act.
- Excellent communication skills in managing stake-holders and employees of different levels.
- Good spoken and written command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Sense of responsibility and integrity and able to handle confidential matters.
Key Responsiblities
- Overall manage the HR Department to ensure all KPI’s and expectations of the Company is met and executed effectively.
- Responsible of attainment of department’s KPI and zero audit findings.
- Responsible to uphold, execute and compliance according to the Quality Management System, current Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Documentation Practice, occupational Safety and Health, Company Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Rules and Regulations, Company’s core values and other policies imposed from time to time.
- Overall manage Union related matters.
- To participate in internal and external quality audit.
- To ensure SOP is updated and adhered to at all time.
- To build and maintain good professional working relationship with employees at all levels.
- Effectively manage recruitment and hiring process to ensure the right talent for the right job in a timely manner.
- Effectively manage employee compensation and benefits to attract and retain talent.
- Partnering with Training Unit for on-going personal development program for leaders.
- Effectively manage employee relations to support business needs.
- To ensure sound and harmonious working environment and team spirit exists across organization as well as compliance with local regulations.
- Effectively manage employee’s disciplinary procedures and provide suitable recommendations as and when required.
- Effectively work as business partner and provide professional services to employees at all levels.
- Effectively develop, review, update, communicate and implement company policies and procedures relating to IR to sustain strong industrial/employee harmony.
- To coach, train and guide all HR Team members.
- To carry out any other HR tasks as and when required by the Management.
