My client is a global logistics firm who is looking for a Key Account Manager to manage a key client (MNC) based in Penang. Your new role- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with our logistics services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategic plans to grow and retain key accounts, maximizing profitability and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities, negotiating contracts, and closing deals with key clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors' activities to provide informed recommendations and insights to key clients.
- Track key account performance metrics, generate regular reports, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement of services and processes.
What you'll need to succeed
- At least 3 -5 years of experience in Key Account Management and /or Business Development in a Logistics / Freight forwarding industry
- Proven track record of securing and implementing one major full cycle project with a customer
- Experienced managing international clients
- Excellent customer relationship management skills
- Proficient in English and Mandarin
