Our Client is a market leader in the provision of international and domestic parcel solutions to both businesses and home addresses.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager covering the SOUTH WEST REGION. Based from home with use of an office in the BRISTOL area you will be required to generate and follow up on leads to maximise profitable NEW BUSINESS development opportunities for the client. The role requires a self-motivated and results-oriented individual with excellent organisational skills and a flexible approach to work. The ideal candidate shall have the ability to give attention to detail and must have the commitment to work within the values of the business.

Responsibilities:

  1. Follow-up on leads into the client's business through the website
  2. Generate leads in your defined geographical area.
  3. Convert ALL leads into profitable business.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in your area.
  5. Review and manage agreements in line with product changes
  6. Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives and ensure the client's offer best fits the marketplace.
  7. Partner with the Operations managers in your area to understand local opportunities.
  8. Increase the profitable revenue streams in line with the client's plan and processes.
  9. Maximise all revenue opportunities from existing customers by ensuring they are aware of the full range of the client's services.
  10. Ensure customer satisfaction, including dealing with clients' commercial enquiries efficiently and effectively.
  11. Attend sales events

Skills and Experience:

  • Competitive with drive and energy
  • A strong proven track record in commercial EXPRESS PACKETS and PARCELS / ECOMMERCE new business sales
  • Transport / Logistics knowledge essential
  • Multiple sales environment essential

Benefits:

  • £33,000 to £38,000 Basic
  • £60,000 OTE Commission uncapped
  • Car or car allowance of £4500
  • 26 days holiday plus BH and option to buy/sell 5 days
