Job Responsibility
- Safe Driving: Operate lorries (usually 1-ton, 3-ton, or larger) in a safe manner, adhering to all traffic regulations.
- Goods Transportation: Transport goods or materials from suppliers to customers or between company sites.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring that items are properly secured to prevent damage during transit.
- Route Planning: Plan efficient delivery routes, using GPS or company-provided systems to ensure timely delivery.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine checks on the lorry (e.g., brakes, tires, oil) and report any maintenance issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel consumption, and any incidents.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction during deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes, invoices, and any other required documentation.
- Ensure that all delivery receipts are signed and returned to the appropriate department.
- Ensure that all necessary licenses, permits, and certifications are up to date and valid.
- License: Valid GDL (Goods Driving License) and Malaysian driving license.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of driving experience (experience in long-distance driving is an added advantage).
- Physical Fitness: Ability to load/unload goods and manage physical tasks associated with driving and handling cargo.
- Skills: Good knowledge of traffic laws, basic vehicle maintenance, and GPS navigation.
- Language: Basic proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Entry-Level: RM 1,800 â RM 2,500 per month.
- Experienced: RM 2,500 â RM 3,500 per month.
