Job Responsibilities
- Design and implement production processes and workflows for optimal efficiency.
- Monitor and evaluate production operations to ensure adherence to quality standards and production targets.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce cost.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, and maintenance to optimize production processes.
- Manage and coordinate production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Develop and maintain production documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality control records.
- Lead and train production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Implement and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime.
- Participate in equipment selection, installation, and validation processes.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability of raw materials and equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years experience in production engineering or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
