Requirement:

• 8 to 10 years minimum in server virtualization, network architecture design & setup is mandatory. Network security assessment specifically in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, plus security consulting is an added advantage.
• Certifications in Open Systems and/or security certifications such as CISSP, OPST, GIAC, CEH will be advantageous
• Certifications in CCNA will be an added advantage
• Certifications in VmWare products will be an added advantage
• Bachelor Degree or minimum Advanced Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Science.

Responsibilities:

• The person will be working individually and in a team. This individual will be performing mostly network, systems, and web application security assessments and network testing projects on multi-protocol enterprise network, including large-scale DCS/SCADA systems, and application systems. He/she will be reviewing and providing security recommendation and advisory on the customer\'s processes and operational aspects to meet the customer\'s corporate as well as local regulatory security standards and requirement. The specialist is also expected to be part of the larger OSS consulting team in driving the OSS and Remote Services business.
Job Scope:
• Requirements analysis and design in:- Open systems connectivity to PCN Remote monitoring services Network security assessment
• Remote service architecturing and network topology analysis.
• General security controls review including physical security audits, logical security audits, Operations control procedures review
• Understanding of best-practice methodologies
• Imparting security advisory to customers
Specific Technical Skills
• Open Systems Server/Network Operating Systems: Windows & Windows Server.
• Knowledge of OSSTMM and OWASP
• Experience in ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System Standard.
• Knowledge in SHELL\'s Data Acquisition and Control Architecture (DACA) standard is an added advantage.
• Network architecture security and topology review, assessment of security policies and processes.
• Knowledge and experience in Remote Services is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of forensics investigation, systems and network vulnerability assessment, penetration testing and tool scripting
• Web application architecture & web server: Apache, IIS;
• WebServices like XML, SOAP.
• Wireless security assessment.
• Specific proxying tools such as Paros, Burp.
• Security Scanners:  Nessus, nmap, Retina, Appscan
• Commercial tools like HP\'s WebInspect, AppScan, Canvas, MatriXAY, and other Open source tools.
• Good knowledge of SDLC in an enterprise environment.
• Appreciation of DCS/SCADA systems such as Honeywell Experion, and others such as Yokogawa, Emerson and Invensys is an added advantage.
• Programming knowledge like C++, XML, and PERL is an added advantage.
• Good Knowledge of VmWare products and its applications in server virtualization.
Other Soft Skills:
• Experience in multiple industry verticals, especially in oil and gas sector, with engagement knowledge with national security agencies.
• Compliance knowledge and practice experience in dealing with national regulatory bodies.
• Experience in preparation of business proposals, statement of work, business case justifications, opportunistic selling and competitive negotiation skills.
• International or regional experience in security business consulting and auditing is an added advantage.
