GENERAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for managing and administrating a department.
- Responsible for analyzing, planning, developing, implementing, and executing strategies towards achieving the company's goals and objectives.
- Responsible for managing subordinates' career development.
- Responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and executing company activities related to Quality Management System, Environmental Management System, Safety & Health Management System, company policies, rules and regulations, etc.
- Responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and delegating jobs to the respective subordinates.
- Responsible for managing confidential matters, business affairs, and trade secrets of the company.
SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Overall coordination and responsibility for the entire accounts department.
- Responsible for closing month-end accounts.
- Ensure accounting records are properly kept.
- Prepare monthly internal report, management accounts, payroll JV, and corporate reporting package.
- Prepare or check Capital Expenditure Report, Payment/Debit Note/Credit Note, audit schedule, tax schedule, payroll of Senior Executive and Managers.
- Ensure operations comply with deadlines on submission of monthly inventory, sales reports, and related finance schedule.
- Maintain a systematic record for all categories of fixed assets.
- Assist superior in preparation of budget or profit forecast, government statistics/survey, etc.
- Coordinate stock counts as necessary.
- Analyze manufacturing performance and profitability by product group, customers, and manufacturing centers.
- Review Capital Expenditure and tooling investment payback and ROI computations.
- Perform any ad-hoc assignments relating to management accounting issues.
- Execute other duties as defined by the superior.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Finance/Accounting, Professional Accounting qualification, ACCA/CPA/CIMA or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience, of which at least 3 years are with an audit firm and preferably has exposure in the semiconductor industry.
- Able to work under pressure, with minimum supervision, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of internal controls.
- Hardworking, meticulous, hands-on, and able to work independently.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
- Good communication skills.
