We are currently seeking a Finance Manager to join our team in Remote, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur (MY-14), Malaysia (MY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages financial plans, including annual budgets, long-term financial forecasts, and financial modelling, ensuring the alignment with business strategic goals.
- Conducts in-depth financial analysis to provide insights into the organization's financial performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement. This includes analysing revenue, expenses, profitability, and cost control measures.
- Oversees the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports to senior management, stakeholders, and external parties.
- Ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitors and controls budgetary allocations and expenditures across various business areas and/or projects. Identifies variances and implements corrective actions as needed.
- Oversees the management of the finance information systems and necessary reports for critical analyses of financial performance.
- Identifies, assesses, and mitigates financial risks that could impact organization's financial stability or profitability.
- Develops risk management strategies and policies.
- Establishes and maintains strong financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations.
- Collaborates with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that support business growth and profitability goals.
- Ensures compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws in the regions where the organization operates.
- Coordinates with internal and external auditors.
- Builds and leads a high-performing finance team, providing direction, coaching, and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Finance related field preferred.
Required Experience:
- Advanced financial leadership experience in a related environment, managing people, processes and budgets to achieve corporate and divisional objectives.
- Advanced demonstrable experience with and understanding of the deliverables of a financial function.
- Advanced strategic planning experience.
- Advanced in-depth knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs, combined with strong understanding of business process.
- Advanced demonstrated experience managing finance operations, including knowledge of taxation, foreign exchange, and regulatory compliance.
