Job Responsibilities for Maintenance Manager
- To develop equipment and machinery maintenance procedures and to ensure their implementation, e.g., Cleaning Check List, Equipment Maintenance Schedule, etc.
- To carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues, e.g., SOP of breakdowns default, troubleshooting, etc.
- To coordinate, inspect, and maintain pest control, housekeeping, electrical and mechanical, plumbing, and other related maintenance of hardware systems in all Berry’s Group of Companies and its subsidiaries to ensure functionality.
- To coordinate general repairs such as carpentry works, painting, and building structures, and upkeep of outlet surrounding areas, etc.
- To plan and oversee all repair, maintenance, and installation activities.
- To monitor all equipment and machinery inventories, movements, and maintain a Repair and Maintenance Log Book, including matching the company's fixed assets listing to the existing equipment and machinery in the outlets.
- To monitor expenses and control the budget for repair and maintenance.
- To maintain good working relationships with contractors and service providers.
- To coordinate with third-party cleaning agents to ensure smooth cleaning services are provided to all Berry’s Group of Companies and its subsidiaries.
- To ensure all Health and Safety policies are complied with.
- To ensure outlet staff receives safety training and is aware of all safety practices and procedures.
- To check and follow up on all repair works performed in outlets before payment to contractors and service providers.
- To coordinate renovations of existing facilities and the construction of new facilities.
- To submit a weekly Duty Roster for approval.
- To report on the status/progress of all repairs and maintenance.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
