SQA/IQA Engineer

Job summary

Our well-established client, MNC with factories and offices over 30 countries, manufacturing electronic components and systems is looking for a dynamic and result oriented candidate for the position of SQM/IQA Engineer to be based in Tebrau, Johor Bahru.

Job responsibilities:

• Improve quality of supply chain.
• Achieve high levels of product quality at the lowest possible cost.
• Take lead for solving supplier quality problems in running production and field issue.
• Identify, communicate and resolve supplier serious quality deviations (stop shipments/field actions).
• Support the production with various supplier related issues.
• Drive continuous improvement and resolution of systemic supplier site concerns.
• SAP works.
• Ability to travel to suppliers' sites.
• Supplier assessment.
• Follow up status of phased documentation for new or changed parts at suppliers.
• Perform others related duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time.

Job requirements:

• Minimum in Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial).
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a related in manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, write and speak well in English, Bahasa and Mandarin (liaise with China counterpart).
