Shipping Coordinator

Role: Shipping Coordinator

Location: Klang

Our client is a MNC manufacturer based in Klang. They manufacture F&B such as fragrance and flavors and is looking for a Shipping Coordinator to be based in their plant in Klang.

Responsibilities

• To handle import and export tasks.
• Follow up import and export shipment delivery and booking arrangements for both Air and sea freight.
• Knowledge of the application for the Certificate of Origin and Form D if required.
• Ability to work closely with different internal and external stakeholders, including sales, warehouses and forwarders.
• To handle Customs Declaration and Documentation Filing and record.
• Sourcing and developing vendor/Forwarder list when required.
• Maintaining and updating shipment and inventory information in the system.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• At least three years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Good command of spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
• Can handle daily Job arrangement on time & accurately.
• Be self-motivated, initiative, well organized, with a strong sense of responsibility and to be able to work in a team setting.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Electronic Trade Declaration System.
• Experience in handling DG cargo shipment, Halal Good shipment, and CPC inspection is an advantage.
