Process Engineering Manager

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineering Manager to be in Bukit Minyak, Penang. Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:

1. Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation.
2. Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
3. Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost.
4. Directs workers to measure and test products and tabulate data concerning materials, product or process quality and reliability.
5. Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.
6. Holds up Product Engineers and Quality Program Managers with customer interfaces on quality-related issues as necessary.
7. Assures data availability and integrity for all quality-related data. Consolidates and reports quality results.
8. Initiates corrective action requests as needed and tracks to satisfactory completion.
9. Assists with the development and implementation of quality audits.
10. In charge of developing, applying, revising, and maintaining quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.
11. Designs and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or production equipment.
12. Explores reports and returned products and recommends corrective action.
13. Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and research of equipment and facilities.
14. Approves product, process, and equipment qualifications.
15. Provides liaison to various regulatory bodies.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

Typically requires 7 years of engineering experience including supervision. Demonstrates expert functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
