IT Engineer

Responsibilities

• User Support
  • Coordinate and provide day-to-day software, hardware, and system support to all associates.
  • Perform diagnostic, root-cause, and trend analysis on problem management.
  • Provide installation, troubleshooting, training, and problem-solving for computer hardware, peripherals, software.
  • Implement effective processes for all other Service Desk functions including service interruption notification, user satisfaction surveys, etc.
  • Support department goals as required for the planning and implementation of strategies which guarantee user satisfaction, system availability, service levels, and support of the performance criteria.
• Data Security
  • Implement database patch, security enhancement for standard compliance.
  • Monitor the installation of software in company-owned IT equipment is authorized and with valid licenses.
  • Monitor the usage of company-provided IT equipment is within the normal business clause with reasonable care.
• System and Network
  • To assist IT team in providing network and server support.
  • Perform system and network support, troubleshooting, and regular maintenance for our Malaysia and Singapore office.
  • Coordinate with the IT Team for the installation of new software and hardware to support business growth.
  • Follow and execute the security policies and procedures.

Qualifications
• At least 3 years working experience in desktop support service, system administration, and configuration.
• Associate degree or above in related disciplines.
• Knowledge of principles and practices of personal computers and information technology.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
• Good command of English. Mandarin preferred.
• Work independently, good interpersonal skills & able to work under pressure.
• Able to meet tight schedules.
• 24 hours on-call support when necessary and will be required to work irregular hours to perform system setup, support, and maintenance duties.
• Able to travel between Malaysia and Singapore offices.
