POSITION SUMMARY
To assist to complete Electrical engineering and design activities within SOG/SOE projects.
To prepare electrical engineering and design deliverables and follow Air Products Standards, Specification, Work Instructions.
To fulfill the requirements of the position the incumbent must develop collaborative working relationships with internal and external engineering team members (within region).
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Undertake electrical system engineering and design independently, including CD, BED and DED.
Prepare electrical engineering and design deliverables to enable procurement, fabrication and construction.
Provide necessary technical support for procurement and construction as required.
Maintain good interface with other disciplines.
Report to Electrical Engineering Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Job Incumbent is expected to have minimum 5 years work experience in Electrical Engineering and Design for Chemical or Petrochemical related industry with Design Institute or engineering company.
Job Incumbent is expected to have bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and automation or relevant discipline.
Familiar with electrical equipment and bulk material sizing and selection.
Well understand local electrical engineering & design codes and be familiar with international standards and codes.
Well understand the interface with other disciplines, such as process, piping, civil, structure, mechanical, machinery, instrument, plumbing and firefighting, HVAC, telecom, etc.
Good skills in using electrical system analysis software, such as ETAP, SKM PTW, etc.
Good team player and effective communication skills.
Registered electrical engineer is preferred.
