Job Responsibility
- Welcome and greet customers. Ensuring all customers are sited and in comfort.
- Inform customers of specials and menu changes.
- Make recommendations.
- Reply any question pertaining to all food, beverage and of any other product of the Company.
- Take food and beverage orders from customers.
- Up selling of in-house specials.
- Enter in orders and relays orders to the kitchen, ensuring that the orders are understood.
- Setting the proper cutleries.
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen bar to customers in a timely manner.
- Monitor and observe customers dining experience.
- Ensure customers are satisfied with the food and service.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are kept at all times.
- Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
- Prepare final bill, present check to customer, accept payment, process credit card charges, or make change (if applicable).
- Be ready and willing to assist colleagues with clearing and resetting tables.
- Thank customers for their visit and invite them to return.
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the café as directed by the immediate superior.
- Fill in where needed to ensure customer service standards and efficient operations.
- Pentaksiran Tingkatan Tiga (PT3) or equivalent.
- Preferable experience in hospitality industry.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Possess high standards of integrity, credibility, and reliability.
- Willing to work on shift including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended period and move quickly.
