About The Job
Execute and provide mechanical and technical support to customers. This includes service, installation, testing, repairing, and maintaining as well as condition monitoring and audits on products, modules and systems at customer site.
Responsible for planning/preparation, servicing, troubleshooting and repairs on Alfa Laval products at customer site & service centre and prepare good service or analysis report.
Job Description
Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair of Alfa Laval equipment i.e. decanters and separators for the Crude Palm Oil industry
Commissioning including checking of equipment installation, training of operators in equipment operation, maintenance and safety.
Maintaining communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
Perform repair inspection and prepare repair reports.
Conduct test trials including process performance
What You Know
Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role.
Strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in the relevant field.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
Ability to adapt to changing environments, multitask, and manage time effectively.
Proficient in documentation and reporting.
Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with industry advancements.
Ability to travel (minimum 80 days/year).
