ResMed Global Supply Chain Planning & Logistics is the global function that manages the planning and distribution of ResMed products impacting and enhancing millions of lives. Let’s talk about Responsibilities:
Lead the team in data & analytics projects end-to-end by collaborating with other business functions from developing project plan, coordinating team members’ work, monitoring progress, reviewing results, and delivering final products that meet the expected guidelines and vision established
Champion people and culture strategies that support achievement of goals and addresses organizational capability gaps
Develop data literacy, analytical thinking and engagement in others within and outside the team
Direct , monitor and coach the performance of team members
Ensure projects are aligned with key strategic objectives and fits in with the overall analytics ecosystem to drive business adoption and outcomes
Lead a team to explore, define and design optimal analytic solutions in supporting end-to-end global planning and logistics processes
Building strong partnerships with a broad range of business functions and identifying where analytics solutions can add value
Proactively engage with customers to understand, prioritize and communicate analytics needs that will lead to improved business outcomes
Contribute to thought leadership, and demonstrate technical expertise analytics and associated technologies, data quality, governance and architecture
Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, business, information systems, computer science or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience working in a complex business environment
- Experience leading analytics projects or working independently to deliver analytics products
- Experience leading and building analytics team that adds business values
- Exposure to supply chain planning and logistics or operation functions
- Experience working on projects incorporating aspects of data governance, data transformation, data warehousing and data visualization
- Experience working with a range of data preparation, analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Qlik Sense, Power BI, R, Python, Alteryx) and a demonstrated ability to apply expertise to new tools
- Fundamental SQL query and data management experience
- Understanding of Data Science principles and applications sufficient to work effectively on projects incorporating machine learning elements
- Experience in different phases of the data project lifecycle from strategy and advisory, scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, training and deployment
- Experience within Medical Device, FMCG, Pharmaceutical or Life Science industry
- Familiar with advanced planning and logistics systems
- Experience in operating large scale ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP)
