Job Responsibilities:

  • Direct activities of the facilities department to ensure the proper reliability and appearance of the facilities and provide manpower support to technology group.
  • Assure the reliable and cost-effective operation of the various utilities.
  • Provide technical support and expertise on project and construction management.
  • Participate in the design and construction of all major facilities on site so that they are safe, operational, and cost effective and utilizes standard equipment.
  • Set up and assure the continuance of interdepartmental teams to creatively provide for energy reductions, error removal, work planning, employee training and teamwork.
  • Assure the operation of the physical plant for 24 hours per day all year (e.g. handle emergency on utilities matters, good housekeeping maintenance, meet all manufacturing environmental requirements).
  • Leading effort in compliance to ISO 14001 certification.
  • Rapport & build good partnership with relevant Government agency and Utilities Company.
  • Responsible for labor and ethics management for the organization.
  • Responsible for compliance of site policies and procedures to local applicable laws, regulations or procedures, and auditable standards.
  • Encourage workers to report any kinds of violations relating to labor, ethics and EHS.
  • Diligently monitoring, reviewing and preventing unethical, unsafe or unlawful conduct at ON Semiconductor such as harassment, verbal or physical abuse, unsafe practices etc.
  • Any report received in good faith should be treated prompt and professionally and without risk of Retaliation.
  • Perform according to our standards of ethical conduct, in both words and actions.
  • Promoting open and honest communications.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering preferably Electrical or Mechanical.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Facilities Management at management role.
  • Budgeting and financial planning skills.
  • Clear and concise communication skills.
  • Able to get support from Government agencies/utilities company if needed.
  • Anticipate and proactively address trends and future needs.
  • Troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Must be organized, adaptable and possess strong leadership skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
