Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures Regulatory Compliance: Safeguards adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and reporting requirements (e.g., Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance).
• Strengthens Governance Framework: Contributes to refining the company's governance framework, including areas like anti-corruption and ESG initiatives.
• Identifies and Addresses Gaps: Identifies and closes gaps in policies and procedures, ensuring they align with regulations and support strategic decision-making.
• Manages Governance Implementation: Assists in implementing, evaluating, and maintaining the company's governance framework and compliance system.
• Supports Reporting: Assists with the preparation and submission of regulatory and statutory reports.
• Facilitates Corporate Finance: Provides support on executing corporate finance transactions and related regulatory discussions.
• Supports Due Diligence: Contributes to the due diligence process of corporate exercises and ensures regulatory submissions and announcements are accurate.
• Maintains Investor Relations: Assists with investor relations management activities, including responses to shareholder inquiries.
• Contributes to Risk Management: Participates in identifying and mitigating risks faced by the company.
• Maintains Policy Compliance: Assists in drafting and updating corporate policies to ensure they remain relevant and aligned with regulations.
• Flexible and Adaptable: Fulfills additional duties assigned by the supervisor, such as drafting sections of the annual report and supporting AGM/EGM proceedings.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Senior Manager, Sustainability & Compliance will be confident in leading from the front and be responsible for the growth of the company and must possess the below requirements;



Key Requirements:

• Holds a recognized degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, law, business administration). An MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in related areas, ideally in Sustainability, Compliance & Corporate Governance.
• Demonstrated familiarity with Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad's Main Market Listing Requirements and the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance. Experience with the Malaysian Companies Act 2016 and Malaysian Securities Commission regulations is a benefit.
• Strong critical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and a well-organized approach to tasks. Must be an independent and effective multi-tasker with excellent project management and communication skills.
• High integrity, self-motivated, adaptable, and a strong team player.
