- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in retail management, preferably in a sports or specialty retail environment.
- Strong understanding of pickleball and passion for the sport.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in inventory management software and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Scopes:1. Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the pro shop, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and merchandising pickleball equipment and apparel.
- Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
2. Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Organize team meetings and training sessions to promote knowledge of products and customer service excellence.
3. Customer Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and enhancing their shopping experience.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Organize and promote community engagement events, such as clinics, tournaments, and social gatherings.
4. Financial Management:
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense control.
- Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance for upper management.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with financial policies.
