Job Description
- Plan, coordinate and manage MICE events, conferences, banquets and corporate functions from planning to execution.
- Act as the main liaison with clients to understand event requirements and ensure successful delivery.
- Coordinate event logistics including venue setup, catering, audio-visual, technical support and guest services.
- Work closely with internal departments such as sales, banquet operations, kitchen, engineering and housekeeping to ensure smooth event execution.
- Conduct event briefings, prepare event orders and oversee on-site event operations.
- Monitor event budgets, manage costs and support revenue generation through upselling event services.
- Ensure high standards of service quality, safety compliance and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Tourism or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in event management, MICE, banquets or hospitality operations , with at least 2 years in a managerial role .
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage event operations during weekends or public holidays when required.
- Proficient in event planning tools, Microsoft Office and event documentation processes.
- Willing to be based in Genting Highlands
