MIS Executive/System Engineer

Company Background

We are representing our client, a subsidiary of an SGX mainboard listed company specializing in the manufacturing of high-performance wireless equipment. Their activities include calibration, testing, SMT, and box build.

Currently, they are on the lookout for a MIS Executive/System Engineer to be based in Kulai, Johor.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Supporting IT infrastructure and system troubleshooting.
• Daily troubleshooting, creating and designing new reports, developing and deploying new applications.
• Tracking and monitoring problems to ensure a timely resolution.

Skills and Attributes

• Must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Computer Studies/IT.
• Familiar with VB.net, ASP.net, C#, VB, ASP (ASP.net in-house system).
• Required languages: English and Chinese (to liaise with Chinese-speaking associates).
• Preferably candidates with knowledge of HTML, ASP 2.0/3.0, Visual Basic, ASP.NET, and MS SQL Server.
• Candidates with Microsoft Certified System Engineer certificates are highly welcomed.

Experience Requirement

• At least three years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Knowledge of J.D. Edward ERP system (Enterprise One) will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server, SQL language, IPPBX, NAS, and Linux is an added advantage.
