Financial Controller

Established in 1999 , their early years were focused on building a solid track record as a reputable provider of newsprint for Malaysia and across Southeast Asia. Today, with a 250,000tpa design capacity with plans for expansion, they produce a range of high quality recycled paper products for key Asian markets such as China, India and Indonesia, and are increasingly serving global markets as our product categories continue to expand.

Responsibilities

• Setting and maintaining accounting systems, policies, and procedures
• Overseeing the department including design of the organization structure to support achievement of departmentâs goals
• Making sure that all transactions are done in a timely manner and ensuring reconciliation are done on a routine basis
• Issue timely and complete financial statement and annual report
• Manage the production of the annual budgets and forecasts
• Provide financial analysis to the management on a routine basis
• Be the guardian of the financial cash flow of the company
• Coordinate the provision of information to external auditor for annual audit
• Comply with the local, state, federal government reporting requirement and tax filling.

Qualifications

• At least bachelor degree in accounting or business administration
• At least 10 years of experience for a major company.
• Obtained ACCA or relevant certificate.
• Must have background in Manufacturing Industry
