Software Engineer

The Software Engineer will be responsible for supporting, enhancing, and developing the existing Customer Relationship Management system at Kentron IT. This role will be based in UOA Business Park, Shah Alam, Malaysia, and potentially will be supporting clients within SEA.

Accountabilities

Primarily work closely with the Business Analyst/Technical Lead to provide technical expertise to our products & solutions. Also assist with reviewing requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documentation, as well as developing the solution (mainly web-based applications). Understand all standards, architecture, and processes, and ensure development standards are practiced accordingly.

Become familiar with existing systems in production and be able to maintain, enhance, and support these systems as specified by the business users. Candidates may possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

Having good communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Flexible to work on shifts when the need arises.

Experience working with web development. Good T-SQL skills and experience with ERP/E-Commerce systems is a major advantage.

Minimum 1 year working experience in any of the following:

• .Net
• HTML
• CSS
• T-SQL / RDBMS
