Executive Industrial Relations

• Manage Industrial Relations operational tasks such as disciplinary actions, misconduct cases, Performance Improvement Plans (PIP), Due Inquiry sessions, etc.
• Collaborate with the Union Liaison Executive in Monthly Union Meetings, Collective Agreement (CA) meetings, Union-Management Meetings, etc.
• Ensure all disciplinary records and data are updated and properly maintained.
• Prepare and analyze reports related to Industrial Relations activities, such as absenteeism, misconduct, COBC, etc.
• Advise or provide solutions on disciplinary, grievance, and Industrial Relations (IR)-related matters to respective departments.
• Assist in negotiating collective agreements, employment issues, and policies.
• Handle and support workplace grievances and resolve disagreements.
• Create strong relationships with stakeholders such as the Labour Office, IR Office, unions, management, employees, etc.
• Ensure Industrial Relations processes are updated and relevant to the company, in alignment with applicable Acts and policies.
• Stay updated on the Employment Act, Union Act, and Industrial Relations Act, including amendments, revisions, or requirements.
• Execute the General Duties of the Employer under Part IV, Section 15 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA 1994) and the Environmental Quality Act (EQA 1974).

About us :

Inokom is involved in the assembly and manufacturing of light commercial vehicles as well as contract assembly. Its manufacturing facility is located in Padang Meha, Kulim, occupying 200 acres of freehold land. Production first commenced in August 1997.The Company is owned by a consortium of corporate shareholders, which constitutes of Sime Darby Motors Sdn. Bhd., Sime Darby Hyundai Sdn Bhd, Hyundai Motor Company of South Korea , and Berjaya Auto Berhad.
