Radiation Therapist

Responsibilities:

1. Administer radiation treatment to cancer patients, including CT simulation, verification, and treatment.
2. Provide patient education and conduct assessments on weight loss and mucositis.
3. Ensure the safety of the patient before, during, and after procedures by providing necessary care and constant monitoring of patient conditions.
4. Adhere strictly to rules and regulations on radiation protection to assure the safety of patients and other personnel.
5. Ensure that all technical details from simulation to daily treatment delivery are accurate and precise as planned.
6. Maintain proper care and quality control of equipment and related accessories to ensure uninterrupted service.
7. Record any faults or breakdowns of equipment in the logbook and report immediately to the Medical Physicist and Manager.
8. Maintain adequate stocks of medical supplies and accessories in CT Simulation room, control room, and treatment room.
9. Maintain a clean and safe environment in the CT Simulation room, control room, treatment room, and the whole department.

Qualification and Requirements

1. Minimum qualification: Diploma in Diagnostic Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
2. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
3. Experience in healthcare will be advantageous.
