Job Brief A customer-oriented person, to ensure that restaurant operations run smoothly. Overseeing the activities of restaurant staff, extend warm greetings to guest upon arrival and usher them to allocated seats, and ensure that mis-en place/side station is all properly set-up before the shift commences. Should also be able to identify ways to decrease the restaurant's operational costs. Practice effective management skills and take necessary disciplinary actions to address poor staff performance. Should be able to achieve exceptional customer service and ensure that guests have a pleasant restaurant experience. Job Responsibilities
- Screening, interviewing, hiring, supervision, training and coordination of Food & Beverage employees.
- Managing staff's work roster, schedules, performance and resolving any grievances.
- Conducting regular inspections of the restaurant kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.
- Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations.
- Checking in on dining guests to enquire about food quality and service.
- Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked.
- Monitoring the restaurant's cash flow and settling outstanding bills.
- Reviewing customer surveys to develop and implement ways to improve customer service.
- Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Entry/supervision of entries in POS.
- Organizing the cleaning bar areas, glasses and equipment.
- Taking reservations, greeting and seating guests.
- Communicate effectively with guests and fellow staff.
- Respond to guest requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Promote the employer's services and facilities to the customers when appropriate.
- Assist in maintaining customer services standards set by the hotel.
- Ensure that customers are served in a professional and diligent manner.
- To perform any other duties assigned by Superior.
- Candidate should possess a Primary / Secondary School, Professional Certificates, Diploma / Advanced Diploma or equivalent in Food & Beverage Services Management, Hospitality / Tourism / Hotel Management.
- Preferably at least 3 years of related working experience.
- Preferably undefined specializing in F&B / Tourism / Hospitality or equivalent.
- Good communication skills in English, Malay language for both spoken and written.
