Technician / Associate - Instrumentation and Automation
- Direct and coordinate plant operations within company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance to Quality Management System (QMS) and cGMP.
- Ensure compliance to Environment Health and Safety (EHS) while carrying tasks.
- Enable knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot fill finish machinery, including autoclaves, washing machines, tunnel, filling, sealing, packaging, inspection machines, IBMS, water systems, and utilities.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance of field instruments and control systems and their accessories as per schedule.
- Coordinate with the manufacturing team to resolve issues related to instrumentation and automation.
- Take plant backups at regular intervals as per SOP and restore them whenever necessary.
- Validate systems used for plant automation.
- Plan and execute calibration and validation activities of equipment and its accessories as per schedule.
- Create login-based security levels (e.g., operator, supervisor, shift in charge) as part of regulatory compliance.
- Troubleshoot programming for DCS, SCADA, and PLC.
- Prepare and handle investigations, CAPA, and change management.
- Carry out and coordinate calibration activities of related instruments in the drug product plant.
- Work with engineers on basic design during new projects or retrofits.
- Assist in inventory management and SAP-related activities.
- Carry out work assigned by superiors as per company policy.
