Job Responsibility
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing lessons in accordance with the schoolâs curriculum.
- Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts introduced by the teacher.
- Help prepare educational materials and classroom activities.
- Monitor students during class, recess, lunch, and other school activities to ensure safety and adherence to school policies.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as grading assignments, maintaining attendance records, and organising classroom resources.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Minimum of a SPM/STPM/High School Diploma; an Associateâs or Bachelorâs degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English, BM and Mandarin; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational software (training will be provided).
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain organised.
