In your new role you will:
- Operation Team Lead on Sampling
- Management of engineering sample across all OSAT subcon (globallylocated)
- Facilitate & support Business Units/Division on engineering samplerequest
- Representing OSAT ES on management meetings and reporting of Subconunder team’s care
- Expert matter on SPO via Febes and OSAT ES rules
- Add on project and task as assigned by Functional Manager from time totime
- Monitor staff performance
- Assist staff work progress and handle escalation
- Manage and delegate ES team’s responsibilities and evenly distributesubcon portfolio to strengthen BU support
- In charge of staff development, planning and motivation
- Set goals and objective to be align with company’s target
- Establish & maintain control of OSAT subcons with worldwide location
- Define the DR & CT (KPI) target & driven to meet KPI
- Formulate guideline & process flow for Samples request
- Work with Planning to aid in prioritization process on assembly andtest.
- ES management:
- Support all Business Units/Divisions and all other organization (ATIC,Package TD, TTI, PE, Silicon Tech, Fab, Foundry) that are globallylocated
- Manage volume of samples of ~800 orders per quarter
- Track and monitor open request of ~350 orders at any one time.
- Plan & implement procedures & systems to maximize efficiency
- Manage ES database & maintain integrity of data
- Provide visibility of status & completion date via intranet site.
- Maintain good communication, understand, anticipate & plan to meetrequestors need.
- DIV/BU support & interaction:
- Maintain high customer service mindset with aim to meet samplesrequest deadlines
- Establish ES guidelines for sample request & regulate compliance
- Drive improvement for error free submission.
- Internal (IFX) and external (subcon) communication
- Ability to communicate effectively at all level
- Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevantdepartments including procurement, Finance, Supplier Manager, Ops &Planning and management
- Reporting
- Facilitate in weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports
- Analysis of ES data as a tool to understand where improvement areneeded most and govern changes as necessary
- Introduce innovation and institute automation for better efficiency
- Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics /Microelectronics / Mechatronics / Semiconductor Technology) or BusinessManagement.
- Technical and assembly process knowledge a plus
- Leadership skills
- Excellent in communication skill, both verbal and written
- English language requirement. Chinese language an added advantage to support customers
- Min 5-6 years managerial position in handling engineering sample or Planning role.
- Experience in Subcon management
- Experience in process/manufacturing of semiconductor a big plus
- Leadership in small to large corporation
