Company Overview

Career Horizons is working in close partnership with a Logistics Group who is a pioneer in its field with significant presence globally. They are looking to bring on board an IT Audit professional to join their team in Petaling Jaya.

The New Role

You will be part of an audit team (typically a 2-3 person team). You will present audit issues and recommendations in a clear and risk-oriented way to senior management. Responsibilities include:

1. Providing management with recommendations to mitigate business risks and strengthen internal controls.
2. Planning and conducting compliance audits, HR processes and controls, procurement process and controls, and finance-related processes and controls (ICS).
3. Conducting financial statement audits and shared service center audits, focusing on accounting-related processes and controls.
4. Performing asset & cash management audits, including working capital management, treasury, performance/BCA, and tax-related audits.

Requirements to Succeed

The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least 3 years of audit experience in big four public accounting firms. Experience in compliance work/audits and qualified accounting certifications such as CA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) will be advantageous. Experience in auditing Shared Service Centres is also preferred.
