Why does this job exist and why is it critical?
- Resolve payment complaints/escalations from external/internal customers accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile payments from all channels daily (fall-outs).
- Perform payment cancellation, refund, or chargeback accurately and in a timely manner.
- Identify and work on rectification with the IT team on payment issues that arise from system faults.
- Process internal waivers raised by employees for themselves or contra payments by the relevant department for the customers.
- Initiate and implement improvements on payment processes, procedures, or systems to ensure efficient payment flow into customers’ accounts.
- Support and manage all matters related to payment channels (internal and external) and the Finance Department.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of related working experience / Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in Payment Processing: Proficient in handling payment complaints, cancellations, refunds, chargebacks, and daily payment reconciliation.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to identify and resolve payment system issues in collaboration with IT teams.
- Process Improvement: Proven experience in initiating and implementing payment process enhancements.
