Job Description POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY
- Plan, direct, coordinate, budget and monitor activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems to the approval of the Client, whilst maintaining the safety of staff and public during the construction.
- Participate in the conceptual development of the construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation to ensure completion of works to cost, schedules and specific technical and quality requirement.
- Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
- Prepare and submit budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports of Construction Management Airport System.
- Develop and implement quality control programs.
- Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
- Liaise with Consultants, Contractors and othe Stakeholders to ensure all projects are carried out and completed within the expected time, cost whilst maintaining quality.
- Manage construction of the project within a predetermined time, cost and quality with the ongoing changes, requests and requirements.
- To develop leaderships skills,knowledge in engineering and be creative.
- Construction management.
- Experience in project management with exposure in managing project initiation, planning and execution.
- Project and Contract Management.
- Well verse in Value Engineering.
- Well verse in Airport Operational Procedures.
- Ability to effectively delegate while maintaining forward motion on key deliverables;
- Proven team player skills with ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships;;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent business and technical writing;
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
- Strong mentoring, training and coaching to junior colleagues.
- Comfortable and Capable of Leading Teams;
- Capable of Managing Cross Functional Teams and Multiple Projects;
- Capable of reading drawings and schematics;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Registered with BEM
- Degree with minimum 5 year experience in Project Management with exposure in managing technical requirements and best practice in engineering and CGPA 3.0.
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronic)
