Job Description
- To provide process support to the manufacturing group, enabling product development and manufacturing efficiency and quality improvement to be achieved.
- Oversee process control by setting SOCs for process lines and process improvement to ensure productivity and quality improvement.
- Responsible for process troubleshooting including PID tuning to ensure smooth and efficient production.
- Responsible for new product and process development and introduction which include process specification, upgrades, trials and equipment commissioning and tuning.
- Provide technical & training support to both manufacturing and AP sales force.
- Prepare technical documentation, weekly/monthly reporting including presenting for internal review and escalate to regional team for extending support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or Engineering majoring in Chemical Engineering, Plastics Science or Equivalent/Minimum diploma for Assistant Process Engineer.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in plastic processing industry environment.
- Hands-on experience and knowledge in computer, preferably with exposure to PLC factory automation system / PID tuning.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to develop good working relationship with people inside & outside of the organization.
