Senior Finance Executive

Position Title: Senior Finance Executive (Permanent)

Budget: up to RM6,000 (Basic)

Location: Ayer Keroh, Melaka

Report to: Finance Manager
Subordinate: 3 (Executive Level)

Finance Team Size: 18 (expanding)

Working Hours: Fully in Office (No WFH arrangement)

• Monday to Wednesday: 8am to 5pm (1 hour break)
• Thursday: 8am to 6pm (1 hour break)
• Friday: 8am to 5.30pm (1.5 hours break due to Friday prayers)

Job Scope:

• Responsible for leading and reviewing subordinates' work and assist Finance Manager in overall financial and internal control activities
• Provide analysis of financial performance
• In-charge of preparing yearly audited report and tax computation compilation
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly and quarterly Management and Accounting Reporting
• Liaise with tax agents, auditors, bankers and other authorities including Bank Negara Malaysia, Customs, etc.
• Leading improvement projects
• Other ad-hoc jobs and projects assigned

Requirements:

• Candidate must at least hold a Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Preferably candidates with relevant working experience in multinational companies or audit firms and a minimum of 3 to 4 years working experience
• Strong discipline, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work under stress and meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and MRP accounting systems (e.g., SAP is an added advantage)
• Ability to read and write Chinese/Japanese is an added advantage

Additional Requirement:

Experience in financial reporting, drafting and preparing audited reports, good in audit and internal control aspects, analysis. Added advantage - knowledge in transfer pricing documents, J-SOX, and tax computation knowledge.
