Our client is an established MNC in the glove industry. They are currently expanding and looking for dedicated and hardworking individuals to join them.

Job Description

1. Perform routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure their efficient operation. This includes inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and repairing as necessary.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to identify the root cause of problems and implement appropriate solutions.
3. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and prevent equipment failures. This may involve creating maintenance checklists, conducting regular inspections, and replacing worn-out parts.
4. Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and breakdowns to minimize production disruptions. Act decisively to resolve issues and restore operations as quickly as possible.
5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment manuals. Document repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks to track equipment performance and identify trends or recurring issues.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards while performing maintenance activities. Identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate measures to mitigate risks to personnel and property.
7. Manage inventory levels of spare parts and supplies necessary for maintenance activities. Coordinate with procurement teams to order replacement parts and maintain adequate stock levels to support maintenance operations.
8. Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the maintenance department. Recommend upgrades, modifications, or alternative solutions to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
9. Provide training and guidance to maintenance technicians and operators on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols. Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the maintenance team.

The Successful Applicant

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2. 2 years and above of experience in maintenance engineering or a similar role.
3. Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
