Job Responsibility We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Manager to join our F&B technology company. The Finance Manager plays a crucial part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Manage finance settlement, including reconciling transactions, verifying payments, and resolving discrepancies
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting activities, such as accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Quarterly GST and coordinate with company secretary and tax agent
- Monitor and analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for cost reduction and revenue enhancement
- Maintain compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and other financial regulations applicable to the F&B technology industry
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and drive business growth
- Manage and optimize cash flow, including monitoring cash positions, forecasting cash needs, and implementing cash management strategies
- Prepare budgeting, financial analysis, and financial planning processes
- Create financial reports for shareholders, providing insights into the company's performance and financial standing and maintain clear and effective communication with shareholders
- Work with payment gateways to negotiate favourable terms and fees, optimizing the cost-effectiveness of payment processing
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CIMA is a plus
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the F&B or technology industry
- Preferred language(s): English and Mandarin
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations
- Proficient in accounting software Xero and advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgets, and financial forecasting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Proactive mindset and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong ethics and integrity in handling financial matters
