Senior Operations Foreman

Responsibilities:

• Assist LPG Operations Assistant to coordinate daily work activities at LPG Plant
• Assist to line up LPG pump and sphere as and when required
• To ensure contract plant supervisor has made arrangement to meet manning requirement at each plant. Ensure minimum manning requirement is met during coffee/lunch break
• Conduct and assist daily SHE toolbox talk
• Assist LPG OA to manage LPG cylinder inventory such as filled cylinder buffer stock, competitor, leaky, RQ, repainted, condemned cylinders and etc
• To monitor and ensure competitor cylinder exchange are done safely and correctly in the plant, conduct a 25 filled cylinders check once for both plants during the shift
• Enforce and ensure all plant workers are adhering to terminal safe operational practices, safety rules/procedures and PPE requirements
• To regulate truck movement and traffic flow in plant including the movement of small pick-up truck and accountable for empty cylinders transferred within plant
• Ensure good house-keeping in the plant and coordinate for Sunday house-keeping activities
• Act for Senior Technician as and when required
• Actively participate in Fire Drills as laid down in Fire Orders and other Safety/Health activities
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Assistant Terminal Manager or Terminal Manager from time to time

Qualifications:

• Diploma / Certificate in a relevant technical field is a minimum requirement
• Min 3-5 years of experience in related field or equivalent
• Demonstrates initiative, strong interpersonal skills, industriousness, and effective communication proficiency
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
