JUNIOR PROCESS ENGINEER

Job Description

Report to Engineer or his assigned. Manage the department to achieve defined objectives.

Assist Engineer in the study of production, which generally includes such aspects as economic analysis.

Conduct DFM and process capability studies for product design and requirements.

Lead to resolve any technical issues that arise during NPI (New Product Introduction) / FA (First Article) preparation stages.

Assist Engineer in areas such as tools, fixtures, and facilities design, along with other aspects related to manufacturing.

Assist Engineer in research on manufacturing processes and systems.

Problem-solving and finding solutions; proactive in process improvement and cost-saving activities.

Assist Process Engineer in assigned tasks. Maintain updated Standard Operation Procedures.

Maintain consistent application of company policies, procedures, and shop floor rules.

Any other responsibilities assigned by the Department Manager.

Maintain good housekeeping and 5S.

Oversee and assess existing processes and workflows.

Utilize process simulation software to test and find the most appropriate production strategies.

Adhere to all applicable Occupational Safety and Health laws and regulations, as well as standards, practices, and procedures instituted by the Company.

Qualifications

1. Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or 2-3 years of related experience.
2. Computer literate, including design software and AutoCAD.
3. Problem-solving skills.
4. Must be a team player.
5. Strict attention to detail.
