Responsibilities

  • Direct the management of the IT team operational to meet and/or exceed service standards through structured career and skills development, training, and on-the-job coaching.
  • Develop and monitor IT overhead expenses and project costs in the most effective, efficient manner possible and within budget throughout the year.
  • Establish and coordinate the daily management system for the IT team by holding regular team meetings; keeping the team up-to-date on all key initiatives, and creating a team environment.
  • Develop and organize the IT team in the execution of an IT master plan to meet and support business goals and strategies.
  • Owns and keeps the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) of IT records up-to-date and takes action in the event of a disaster.
  • Co-ordinate the Work & Development Plan (W&DP) review process for the IT team to ensure projects deliver as scheduled, and identify key learning gaps and opportunities for individuals to develop. Involvement in the annual performance rating for the team.
  • Responsible for compliance with internal control standards for all IT areas through verification of the performance of health checks. Develop remediation and improvement plans to close any identified gaps.
  • Awareness of cybersecurity requirements (industry) and ability to support Procter &Gamble's Cyber Security organization to drive programs centered on protecting P&G & Site in terms of information security.
  • Liaise with internal Accounts Payable personnel and the Global P&G IT/OT Leader to support IT cross-charge items and resolve discrepancies, if any, for smooth intercompany charge billing.
  • Co-ordinate and liaise with the Global Procter &Gamble IT/OT Leader to plan the organization structure, project implementation, and management capability to promote integrity and support operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or higher.
  • Work experience- at least 5 to 8 years' experience in ITOT function role. Inclusive 3 to 5 years managerial experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in IT supervisory, planning, governance, and compliance.
  • Leadership ability.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and independently with minimum supervision.
  • SAP security and application knowledge may be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
