UCT is looking for a talented Planner II to join us in Malaysia!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Parts maintenance checking before project kick-in.
2. Plan & schedule materials availability to drive production to meet customer delivery commitments.
3. Coordinate with other departments including Buyer, Operations, Programme, and Warehouse for on-time delivery.
4. Systems data maintenance and integrity, key in purchase parts and fabrication parts correctly.
5. Identify possible production bottlenecks and have contingency plans.
6. Work with existing vendors on the completion of the new revision material or temporary change order.
7. Renew, monitor, and translate forecast into material plan and pull in & out with suppliers accordingly.
8. Execute materials planning and purchase for production fulfillment.
9. Review report daily with purchasing department.
10. Coordinate with quality engineers regarding any non-conforming materials.
11. Ensure on-time delivery of materials from suppliers.
12. Attend production meetings and others for communication and updates.
13. Generate management reports and other activities as assigned by superior.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

1. Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering.

Experience Requirement:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Science/Mathematics/Materials/Industrial Engineering with at least 2 years working experience.
2. Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering with at least 5 years working experience.
3. Preferably in a manufacturing environment.
4. No fear of paperwork and system updates.
5. Working hours: Mon – Fri (8:30 am – 5:15 pm).
6. Company transport pick-up at Woodlands, Sengkang, and Tampines MRT.
