Accounts Manager

KCC Hotels & Resorts Sdn. Bhd.

  • Assist in overseeing accounting, finance and operation of hotel and F&B division to ensure smooth operation, highlight inefficiency and suggest for overall improvement.
  • Responsible to review monthly management accounts including GL, AP and AR, stock including review invoices, journal entries, payment vouchers, bank reconciliation statements to ensure timely, accurate and reliable financing reporting.
  • Liaise with external auditor and tax agent to facilitate year end audit and annual tax submission, including providing audit and tax schedules and other information as required, review draft audited report and draft tax computation ensure compliance to statutory requirement.
  • Participate in marketing communication discussion and meeting for hotel & F&B divisions, recommend necessary action plan to improve outlet performance.
  • Monitor suppliers ageing and daily cash requirement, understand company payment pattern, forecasting payments to creditors, prepare weekly cashflow report and participating in weekly cash flow meeting.
  • Monitor term loan installment for hotel & F&B division to ensure timely repayment of installment and interest.
  • Analyze financial data, perform financial ratio analysis and competitor analysis for hotel and F&B division. Present and interpret the quarterly/yearly financial results to the management
  • Participate in new hotel development including prepare financial assumption & budget, application of loan, coordination with consultant.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; or a related field; ACCA, CPA or CA certification is a plus.
  • More than 5 years working experience in managerial position within a 4 or 5-star hotel/hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge in accounting principles, financial reporting standards, regulatory and tax
  • Good experienced in handling tax
  • Possess good audit background
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, Excel, and financial modeling tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English & Malay. Knowledge in other language will be an advantage.
  • Capability to communicate and collaborate effectively with hotel staff, corporate management, and internal/external parties.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities are required.
  • Multitasking ability, ability to work under pressure, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Possess own transport with valid driving license.
  • Willing to relocate to Muar, Johor
