Summary

We are seeking talented and motivated Senior Lead Engineer, Digital Design to join our dynamic and growing organization that enable industry leaders to deliver products that leave positive impacts to the world. 
The Senior Lead Engineer, Digital Design will contribute to the architect, design, and optimization of the innovative solutions for HealthTech, Industrial, Smart Energy, Aerospace and Capital Equipment. In this role, the Lead Engineer will play a pivotal role along with cross functional teams of other engineers, customers, supply chain and project leadership to ensure solutions meet the highest industry standards.

Detailed Description

• Product Design and Development
  • Leads the architecture, design and implementation of technical solutions in multiple market segments that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to develop world class products in highly regulated markets.
  • Familiar with EE development processes & workflows to realize products on a PCBA and product/system level.
  • With the relevant technical competencies, lead and execute product realization from conceptual stages all the way thru manufacturing transition.
  • Able to support the development of technical proposals for customers, providing technical solutions to realize concepts and estimating associated labor and material costs required.
  • Recognized subject matter expert for one or more technical areas. See Technical Competencies section.

Technical Competencies:

• Experience in designing digital circuits and systems that encompass:
  
  • Digital controller design that covers MPU / MCU/ FPGA / GPU
  • Storage and memory device interfaces
  • Familiar with various digital interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, USB, DDR, LVDS, SerDes etc.
  • SI & PI simulation and validation
  • Proficient with schematic & layout design tools (OrCAD, Cadence Concept/Allegro, Altium Designer)

• Good understanding of product EMC, Safety & Environmental compliance requirements
• Proficiency with HDL and IP design such as VHDL, Verilog, and System Verilog is an added advantage

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-10 years of direct working experience in product design within a multi-disciplinary environment, having completed multiple product development cycles.
• PHD applicants with a lesser amount of years in industry experience will be considered.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English, ability to work with an international team.
• Good team work attitude, collaboration and communication skills.
• Business travel possible (including overseas travel). 

Physical Demands

• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. 
• Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Typical Experience

• 5 to 10 years in a similar role or industry.

Typical Education

Bachelor degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
