Our client (PLC) is in the Industrial Services and is looking for a Company Secretary Manager to lead the secretarial functions within the Group based in KL.
- Serve as Company Secretary and provide advisory support to the Board and Management
- Facilitate meetings, board sessions, committee meetings, and management committee gatherings for the Group.
- Prepare and distribute notices, agendas, and meeting materials, working with relevant departments for the necessary documents.
- Attend meetings to record minutes and draft resolutions
- Oversee adherence to the Companies Act, Bursa Listing Requirements, Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance, Capital Markets, Services Act, and other relevant regulations.
- Draft and review statutory forms, announcements, circulars, quarterly reports, and Annual Reports, ensuring timely submission to authorities.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates of statutory records and registers.
- Liase with internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as the primary contact between the Company and regulatory bodies such as Bursa Malaysia, SSM, and the Securities Commission.
about the requirements
- Licensed (ICSA/MAICSA) with a valid Practicing Certificate.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a public listed company.
- Familiar with the Companies Act, Bursa Listing Requirements, Securities Commission Act, Capital Markets and Services Act, MCCG and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Proficient in written and spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia with effective communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, work ethic, and professional.
- People leadership experience is preferable.
