Job Responsibilities

• Backend Programming
  - Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python (Django) , PostgreSQL , and Nginx .
  - Write clean , efficient , and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards .
  - Optimize backend performance and scalability to ensure smooth and reliable operation of our web applications.
  - Configure, deploy, and manage server infrastructure (AWS) to support backend services and applications.
• Collaboration
  - Collaborate with other team members (UI/UX Designer, Software Engineer (Frontend), Project Manager) to understand business requirements and develop software solutions that meet the requirements.
  - Collaborate with other team members (Software Engineer (Frontend), Project Manager) to identify and resolve problems .
• Code Review & Testing
  - Participate in code reviews , ensuring that code is maintainable, testable, and scalable.
  - Troubleshoot and debug issues in the Web Applications.
• Staying Up-to-Date with Trends
  - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software development and backend engineering.

Job Requirements

• An open-minded mindset towards new technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of professional experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on backend development.
• Strong knowledge of Python and PostgreSQL .
• Positive attitude & ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills .
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English .
• [Added Advantage] Experience in handling AWS (Amazon Web Services).
• [Added Advantage] Experience in using Git for version control.
• [Added Advantage] Experience in Linux Ubuntu Servers.
• [Added Advantage] Experience in Python Django.
• [Added Advantage] Knowledge in Python Django Rest Api Framework.
