Job Descriptions /Responsibility:
• Responsible for timely and accurate month-end and year end accounts closing.
• Strong knowledge on accounting treatments, General Ledger, Journal processing. Handle full sets of accounts and statutory reports independently with minimal supervision.
• Assist in financial analysis, reporting and remarks on the Individual’s management accounts respectively.
• Costing schedules update, products analysis and products life cycles.
• Responsible for product costing for inventory valuation, monthly closing inventories. As well as reconcile between inventory ledger and physical stock count.
• Interdepartmental liaison from time to time to complete work tasks.
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties i.e external auditors, tax agent, Company Secretary, local tax and government authorities where required.
• Take charge tax matters, include preparation of tax computation, tax
estimates, timely SST filing and ensure the submission on time.
• To perform and reconcile inter-company transactions. Qualifications & Skills
• Candidate with minimal process in Diploma in Accounting, LCCI and or higher qualifications, certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of working experience preferably in Manufacturing environment and or Public Accounting firms.
• Knowledge in Microsoft office application and accounting software like SQL /Autocount and is an added advantage.
• Able to work under pressure to meet reporting deadline
• Mature with positive work attitude and work as a team.
