Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Recruiter specializing in IT technical resources to join our team in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruiting for various IT roles, particularly in cloud engineering, data science, technical support, AI, and infrastructure system engineering. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of technical roles, and the ability to identify and attract top technical talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition:
  • Source, screen, and recruit top IT talent for specialized technical roles including Cloud Engineers/Architects, Data Engineers/Consultants/Scientists, Service Desk Agents, Technical Support Engineers, AI Engineers/Consultants, and Infrastructure System Engineers.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals to attract candidates.
  • Candidate Screening:
  • Conduct initial phone screens and in-depth interviews to assess candidates' technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate technical assessments and evaluations with hiring managers and technical leads.
  • Job Posting and Advertisement:
  • Write and post job descriptions on relevant job boards, company website, and social media platforms.
  • Ensure job advertisements are optimized for search and attract the right candidates.
  • Recruitment Process Management:
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including interview scheduling, feedback collection, and offer negotiation.
  • Maintain a database of potential candidates for future openings and proactively build a talent pipeline.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide regular updates on recruitment progress.
  • Build and maintain relationships with universities, coding boot camps, and other talent sources.
  • Employer Branding:
  • Promote the company as an employer of choice in the IT industry through various branding initiatives and recruitment events.
  • Represent the company at job fairs, industry conferences, and other recruitment events.
  • Data and Reporting:
  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to continuously improve recruitment strategies and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in recruiting for IT technical roles, particularly in cloud engineering, data science, technical support, AI, and infrastructure system engineering.
  • Strong understanding of IT terminologies, technologies, and roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with the Malaysian job market and labor laws is a plus.
